Kristen is from Old Hickory, Tennessee. She attended college at Southern Adventist University located near Chattanooga, Tennessee. While there, she earned her bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in professional writing, and she earned minors in political economy and piano performance.

After graduating college, Kristen returned to Middle Tennessee to attend Belmont College of Law with the Bruin Scholarship. In law school, Kristen served as copy editor of the Belmont Entertainment Law Journal and interned at the Gallatin Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands.

Kristen has been with Freeman and Fuson since 2021. Kristen’s practice primarily focuses on appeals, including civil, criminal, administrative, and federal.
